What product or products can help me set up a LAN with specific security requirements?

For security reasons, I need to create a small LAN that connects to a larger LAN through a router/switch. I see a lot of products on the market that will meet this need. However, one additional requirement is that one and only one pc on the local LAN will respond to LANDesk inventory queries from the host LAN without hinting that there are additional workstations or that there even is a local LAN on the other side of the router. Is there anything on the hardware market that can do this outside of a software proxy?
Vendors such as Cisco and Enterasys have hardware products that will meet the requirements you have specified. However, hardware solutions may be more expensive. Depending on the size of the network you may even be able to use a SOHO device like the Linksys WRT54GS. One simple option may be to setup an ACL in your existing router to allow only the one PC on the local LAN to respond to the LANDesk inventory server.
