What is maximum distance to a hub or any device and what are the maximum PCs for a network?
100m is the standard copper channel standard for distance including patch cords. The number of devices really depends on the switch manufacturer, amount of buffer space and number of switches you can stack together. The older numbers of maximums do not necessarily apply any longer due to advancements in the electronics' switching, routing and subnetting that are used today.
