What is difference between show flash and show flash all commands?
There are three types of flash file systems – type A, B & C. Show flash is the first command for all of these and "all" keyword is available only in type A & B. When you add all keyword in type B filesystem it displays all information about flash even if it is invalid. And all keyword is an option for type B file systems.
In type A file-systems you have three options to choose from all, chipset & filesys. All is by default. When you do not specify anything - all is assumed and all information with chipset and filesys is displayed.
