Is there a benchmark for the number of servers a security analyst should be supporting through manua

I am interested in finding out if there is a benchmark on the number of servers that a Security Analyst should be supporting through manual processes (no automated tools)?
This is one of those questions for which there is no straight answer. I am not sure if there exists a benchmark for the same. There are no pre-defined rules and it all comes down to the corporate IT policies and sometimes the budget. It differs with organizations and often there are no baselines defined as to how many Sys Admins or security analysts it takes to effectively & securely manage the IT infrastructure? A perfect number, I believe is the one that enables you to effectively and efficiently perform your job and achieve results. Remember, there's a difference between aiming and hitting a target.

I will do some research to see if I can find the benchmark you requested and will post it as soon as I find one.
