Is it possible to broadcast a message to all my network computers using Server 2003? And am I able to control who I send to by IP address?
By default, IPv4 allows messages to be transmitted to a uni-cast, multi-cast or broad-cast address, although it might just be easier to use something like the messenger service to transmit a message to all users. Just make sure you block access to this service from outside the firewall…spammers love it!
