Integrated mobile application, device management best approach

Administrators don't have to worry about interoperability; integrated mobile application and device management is the best approach.

Are there any standards that I should look for in particular regarding interoperability between mobile device management and mobile application management?

There are no particular standards. Most mobile device management systems have application management capabilities, so the best approach is to implement an integrated system. In that scenario, interoperability is not an issue.
