In the brief study about IPv6 that I have done I have discovered that Asia especially Korea, China, Japan and India have embraced IPv6. The US and Europe are planning for IPv6 deployment but I have found nothing describing what Africa has done to prepare for IPv6 deployment. Do you have any insight into what Africa is doing to foster IPv6 deployment?
I actually had to go and do some research as I wasn't aware of the situation in Africa. I could not find overall information about Africa specifically but here are some links that might help.
- In April 2003 there was a large summit in Tunis
- Tunisia has started the IPv6 Forum Tunisia
- AFNOG conducts IPv6 Training in Africa
- French Afnic delivers workshops on IPv6
I hope this gives you some entry links to find more information.
