I currently use a Netgear wireless router and M814Vs. How do I block a MAC address?
While MR 814 offers a strong and good overall network protection, it lacks some important security features including the ability to block MAC addresses. But what you can do is use the address authentication feature to restrict connection to specific wireless adapters. The router has a wireless access card list option. When the access control is turned on, only those cards with a MAC address listed can access the wireless network. But if the list is empty while access control is on, no wireless PCs will be able to connect to the wireless network.
