Granting access to shared resources

I am about to establish a VPN between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas using a VPN server to VPN server environment. What is the best way to make sure the client can view all shared resources?
The specifics of granting access to shared resources will vary with the VPN hardware/software you are using. If the servers have configurable access control lists (ACLs), ensure that all shared resources are included in the ACLs. Addressing conflicts between sites can also cause problems - you will have the best chance of success where the subnet addresses on both sides do not overlap in any way.
