Sure, you can add some messaging software or use one of Microsoft's built in messaging tools. Win95 and Win98 have winpopup, which will allow you to send messages, and there is also the NET SEND command. I can't remember if the NET command is on Win95 machines, if not you can copy it over and it should work.
