Those who work on enterprise networks can legitimately ponder the acquisition of big-ticket complex network management platforms. Such systems include Tivoli's Business Systems Manager and Enterprise Console, CA-Unicenter, BMC PATROL and MAINVIEW, HP OpenView, and other industry heavyweights.
