Overview of Analysis, Architecture, and Design Processes

This book by James McCabe shows how adding architecture to the analysis and design process leads to far better designs, by forcing you to consider issues like performance, management, addressing, and routing sooner than you otherwise would have.

Chapter 1 introduces the analysis, architecture, and design processes. Described are the fundamental concepts of the processes of network analysis, architecture, and design; systems and services; as well as their characteristics and prepares the reader for the analysis process.
