Secure Access from Juniper stood out as an effective and secure remote access platform, earning the gold medal in SearchNetworking.com's Product Leadership Awards this year. The overwhelming majority (over 68%) rated all elements of the product as "good" or "excellent." Less than 0.4% of the respondents thought any part of the product was poor, and 82% of users who responded thought the product's authentication support was good or excellent. Seventy-nine percent agreed that Juniper's "ease of use" was better than fair.

Thanks to a complete range of remote access SSL VPN appliances, Juniper Secure Access met the needs of varying companies for numerous form factors. "The product is a perfect one for my environment," one user wrote. Tailoring to the individual needs of their users, services and applications, Juniper was able to provide remote access that met companies' needs, not the other way around. "I wish Cisco had the remote SSL meeting like this product," commented one respondent.

Both the excellent ratings of Juniper's extensibility and its ease of use may have been what carried the company into the gold category. "From a user's perspective," one respondent said, "[Juniper's Secure Access] is a very easy-to-use product" -- and this was seen when more than 40% of respondents deemed end user transparency "excellent."

Not only could companies easily install, configure and administer the product, they could easily fit it into their budgets. No users thought they were getting less than their money's worth of secure remote access, and 97% of users who responded with an opinion thought the investment ROI was fair or above.
