Cisco CCNA quiz: Take Part 2 of the advanced practice exam

In this CCNA quiz, we present you with 10 questions on a variety of advanced CCNA topics, including IPv6, OSPF, router security, NAT, GLBP and more. Make sure you answer all 10 questions and assess your readiness to take the CCNA exam.

As the networking industry continues to evolve, the Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) certification has undergone changes of its own. It continues to require a deep understanding of network fundamentals and network security techniques. But it has been expanded to reflect new CCNA routing and switching requirements and other key operational components.

To that end, the exam focuses extensively on routing and switching technologies, among them Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol, open shortest path first (OSPF) virtual LANs (VLANs), and Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol. These tools are also concepts that must be understood in order to obtain the Cisco Certified Network Professional designation.

Part one of our CCNA quiz posed 10 questions to help you prepare for the exam. In this installment, we present you with 10 more challenging questions that cover such topics as IPv6, router security and network address translation (NAT).

As with part one, the CCNA quiz questions increase in complexity, so we recommend answering them in the order presented here. After you're finished answering the questions, you can see how you did by clicking on the box at the end of the quiz.

Okay, I'm not ready. :)

Makes sense, though, since I haven't taken any of the classes...
