According to F5, the BIG-IP is the only device in the industry that can do everything, delivering high availability, improved performance, application security and access control -- all in one unit. The BIG-IP product family also offers flexibility and configurability, allowing users to select which features and functions they want in the module.

User comments seemed to confirm that the BIG-IP modules are easy to deploy and configure. One respondent, who has been using F5 BIG-IP for three years, said that he continues to be "very happy with its performance," while another praised the product's "instant ROI" and added that there have never been any problems with the product.
