Despite some mixed reviews from users, One-X Quick Edition from Avaya received the bronze medal for IP PBXs. Though one user commented that it was a "very limited product," another stated that it was "reliable and stable." The numbers also showed a mixed picture. Eighty-five percent of users rated voice quality good or excellent, but only 72% thought investment ROI was good or excellent.

One user was particularly critical of the One-X Quick Edition, sending in a list that included problems with the software, issues with the menu, and difficulties adding features. Yet the One-X still received good or excellent scores from 80% of users in IP communications and messaging capabilities, ease of maintenance and manageability, and vendor service and support. "For large-scale operations," one user said, "it's been very beneficial."
