The extended offering includes the new Nokia CC5205 Gigabit Ethernet VPN appliance and Windows 2000-compliant Nokia VPN Policy Manager. This expansion provides high performance, encryption processing power, network scalability and reliability.

The new LAN MapShot network diagramming software works with Microsoft Visio 2000 to help users make fast and accurate decisions during planning, upgrading and troubleshooting of networks for a minimal investment.
Check Point security certification expands to over 2,500 testing centers
Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. has announced it is expanding its network of certification testing locations through an agreement with VUE, a testing services company of NCS Pearson. Through the new relationship with VUE, those seeking Check Point Certified Professional certifications such as Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) and Check Point Certified Security Engineer (CCSE) will now have access to over 2,500 testing centers, in addition to standardized testing conditions and streamlined administrative procedures.
Entuity, Telamon partner for network management, event notification
Entuity Inc. and Telamon Inc. have announced a partnership. Under the agreement, the companies will integrate their flagship products, offering network management through remote event notification. The software integrates Telamon's TelAlert into Entuity's Eye of the Storm, which will be co-marketed and individually sold.
Kite Networks unleashes wireless broadband in Phoenix
Kite Networks, an integrated communications provider for consumers, small- and medium-sized businesses, has announced the official commercial launch of the company's fixed-wireless broadband services in Phoenix. The city is the first metropolitan area in the nation to receive full access to the Kite Networks wireless broadband product offerings, which include high-speed "always on" Internet access, e-mail services and Web hosting.
