Everyone's got an opinion, but nobody expresses them quite like network bloggers. They spend their time poking holes in just about every new vendor technology. For users, those opinions can be priceless, shedding light on which technologies are viable and which yield little in return.

This year, our Fast Packet bloggers tackled data center and cloud networking, virtualization management and the network, OpenFlow and sofware-defined networking, 10 GbE optimization and, of course, the holy cow of networking, Cisco and its Catalyst 6500 upgrade and new Cius tablet.
