How to configure wireless LAN security

Wireless LAN security configuration entails a range of skills from wireless network threat assessment to setting up an 802.11i Robust Security Network (RSN). This PrepLogic training video explains the steps to WLAN security configuration from start to finish.

The video begins by laying out a complete rundown of WLAN security and authentication standards, including WEP, WPA, WPA2 and EAP. It then explains the importance of assessing a WLAN for network risks and vulnerabilities before deciding which of these WLAN security standards to implement.

Finally, the video gives a step-by-step visual guide to Cisco Aironet 1200 configuration for security and, ultimately, how to troubleshoot this configuration. In doing so, the video also outlines basic Cisco Aironet 1200 access point and client configuration, as well as troubleshooting tips for these components as a whole.
