Latest Cisco certification programs aimed at network programmability

Cisco has introduced new training and certification options in the use of the company's technology for programming networks and automating tasks. The Cisco programs, unveiled this week, are for professionals working with Cisco's Digital Network Architecture. DNA is a collection of products that lets companies manage and automate networks through a central software console instead of reprogramming individual switches and routers. NPDESI and NPDEV certifications The latest training programs cover one new certification -- the Network Programmability Design and Implementation (NPDESI) Specialist -- and a revision of the Digital Network Architecture Implementation Essentials (DNAIE) Specialist certificate. NPDESI provides network engineers with a "soup-to-nuts curriculum" that addresses the evolving role of network engineers. The course provides skills for network automation and programming.
