As F5's Senior Vice-President of Product Development and Chief Technical Officer, Karl Triebes is responsible for overseeing the Company's technology roadmap and leading F5's engineering team. Triebes has a successful track record of driving the development of enterprise networking and next generation telecommunications products, including Layer 4-7 switches. Prior to F5, Triebes was the CTO and Vice President of Engineering at Foundry Networks in San Jose, where he was responsible for the strategic direction of corporate product architectures and technology roadmap. Karl received his B.S in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University.
