Jack has over 25 years experience in the design and implementation of software and networking systems in both industry and academic environments. Since joining OpenReach at its inception in 2000 he has held primary responsibility for the network architecture of its product. OpenReach received CMP Media's Network Magazine 2003 "Product of the Year" award in April 2003. Prior to coming to OpenReach, Jack was at Lucent Bell Laboratories, where he worked on the development of advanced IP networking technologies. He teaches from time to time in the Division of Computer and Information Sciences at Rutgers University, in New Jersey.
