QUESTION POSED ON: 12 September 2003 I use Windows XP Remote Desktop Connection program to assists with end user problems. My question is there a tool that I can use from my local computer to query our DHCP server. Instead of having to get up (I know that sounds lazy) walk back to the server room and look up the user name, I would rather run a tool that shows me username = dynamic IP. I've been trying to use the NT ResKit. From the command line, I've been looking at the dhcpcmd.exe. Doesn't seem to have what I need. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

EXPERT RESPONSE
You can pull up DHCP manager from you client if you install the Server Tools on your PC. That will be much easier than getting up or writing a script.
