There are two ways to answer your question. First is to comment on the intrinsic value and coverage of the certification. As my own review and analysis have convinced me, as well as others (see for example this discussion: http://www.certmag.com/forums/archive/index.php?t-96.html) the coverage and content for the CWNA does teach an individual how to set up, manage, and provide basic security for 802.11 networks. But you won't find that many job postings actually require (or even mention) CWNA (6 at Dice, 3 at Hotjobs, and so forth). As is the case with many technical credentials, you must be prepared to present and sell the value of the cert, and what it enables you to do, to make the most of this kind of investment.
