QUESTION POSED ON: 09 January 2007
Is there a quick and easy way to check if the switches on my network support IGMP?

>
EXPERT RESPONSE
In the global configuration mode of your router type "ip ?" and press enter. If you find multicast-routing as an option than go to interface mode and check if you can find IGMP when you press enter after "ip ?" in interface configuration mode. If you do not find any of these options, then your router does not support IGMP. You need to change the IOS feature set.

Hope this helps.
