QUESTION POSED ON: 03 January 2006
What is a star bus network and how can I go about designing one?

>
EXPERT RESPONSE
A star bus network is a combination of a star topology (like most Ethernet switches today) and a bus network, as in the older networks that ran over twinax or coax. In the case of star bus, there is a hub in the center that connects the nodes.
