EXPERT RESPONSE
Spyware can be a big pain. Generally, it can slow down systems, make them unstable, and provide you with unwanted pop-ups. It's best to pay attention to what you are agreeing to install when you download software. It is also wise to remember that many free or ad supported programs rely on spyware. This includes programs such as Kazaa, iMesh, BonziBUDDY, and GAIN. To remove these programs check out Ad-Aware, Spy Sweeper or Spyware Scanner. All of these can do a good job of cleaning up your system. Some users are also switching to alternative browsers like Firefox to reduce popups and automatically installed software.
