How do I set up a network using a DSL Ethernet cable?

>
EXPERT RESPONSE
Typically, your provider will provide you with a DSL modem, CD and setup information. The DSL Modem will connect to a standard RJ-11 phone jack on one connection and the other will be a RJ-45 that will connect to your computer. Once you load the software from your DLS vendor, it will setup and save the configuration information, username and password. Then you will be ready to surf the net. If you want to add additional security and functionality, you can add a router/switch between the PC and the DLS modem.
