QUESTION POSED ON: 26 October 2001
Hi. I am eager to attempt the Win2000 certification but do not have the resources (books, CDs, etc.) and they are pretty expensive at this part of the world (Nigeria). I have free access to the Internet. Can you advise me which sites I can get such trainings from and what necessary steps/approach I should use?

My advice would be to stick to good resource sites like www.examcram.com, www.2000tutor.com, and so forth, and use their exam reviews, question of the day services, and the like to get ready. You should also spend lots of time on the Microsoft Technet Web site at >a href="http://www.microsoft.com/technet/">www.microsoft.com/technet/ where you can find and read up on all kinds of related manuals, documents, white papers, training materials, and more.
It's hard to do this entirely for free, so permit me to wish you the best of luck in your efforts.
