With the growth of convergence do you believe that the TIA Convergence Technology Professional would be a good cert to pursue?

Many telephony professionals are starting to investigate and consider the TIA CTP credential (www.ctpcertified.com) now that it's been more or less endorsed by Intertel, Avaya, Cisco, Mitel, and Nortel. If you want to work in this growing area, and more advanced certs from any of the other outfits listed interest you, it's a no-brainer to tackle the CTP. But only Intertel and Mitel require the CTP, and Avaya gives some credit for this credential, so it's not a total must-have. If you're looking for a good stepping stone, however, it's a great place to start.
