Our business is looking to connect two store locations together with wireless communications. Is this faster or more reliable than ISDN or DSL?

Speed (bandwidth) and reliability will be a function of distance and interference. If you are using an 802.11b based system (DSSS or FHSS), you should expect to sustain around 11Mpbs throughput (given the right conditions) which should be roughly 10 times the speed (or greater) than your ISDN or DSL connection. If you give me an idea of how far apart the locations are I can tell you kind of system you need and what the expected performance will be.
