Indeed, a Network+ exam revision is underway. If you visit the CompTIA Network+ pages (for example, try this link), you'll see they're advertising a beta exam for $75 for the newest version of the same. According to CompTIA, the beta will run through the end of 2004. Thus, the new exam probably won't go live until late March, or early April, since it routinely takes CompTIA three months to digest the results of its beta exams and produce final exam versions. But if you check in at the CompTIA Web site from time to time, you can count on them to give you plenty of advance notice when the new Network+ exam will go live.
