What is the future of thin devices relative to wireless network security?
I am assuming you are asking about thin APs. The idea behind thin APs is to minimize the overhead of the AP and centralize the intelligence of the network in a centralized switch. This approach lowers the cost of the AP because these devices don't contain much more than standard 802.11 functionality. This should make general management and security management easier as it can occur from a centralized location.
