What is the difference between Checkpoint and pix firewall?

These are simply two different types of firewall products. PIX is hardware based. Checkpoint can be setup on a pc of your choice. There are many different types of firewalls that can be setup on a network. Which one is right for you depends on your requirements and budget. Other popular products include: Sidewinder, Gauntlet, Raptor, and BorderWare.
