What certification programs does the Wi-Fi Alliance currently offer?
The Wi-Fi Alliance currently operates three certification programs:
Wi-Fi Radio Standards: This program certifies products that implement IEEE 802.11a, b, and g radio standards.
Wi-Fi Network Security: This program certifies products that implement Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) or Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (WPA2), based on the IEEE 802.11i advanced security standard.
Multimedia Content over Wi-Fi: This program certifies products that implement Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM), based on a subset of the draft IEEE 802.11e quality of service standard.
You can find a list of Wi-Fi products and their certification status on this page of the Wi-Fi Alliance's Web site. To learn more about what each certification means, visit this page. However, the test program itself (including testing services and test plans) is only accessible to Wi-Fi Alliance members.
