Q

Troubleshooting installation of Win98

While I'm installing Win98 in my computer, and when I'm almost done the computer says "Windows has found new hardware and is locating the software for it." It will restart again and again.
This usually means Windows is having problems with your system hardware. The first step you should do before installing Win98 is check the manufacturer's Web site to find out if it is compatible. I always look for bios updates before installing a new operating system.
