Q

To simulate voice over IPSec VPNs which simulators work?

Learn which simulators you can use to simulate voice over IPSec VPNs in this advice from our network security expert.

I want to simulate voice over IPSec VPNs but I couldn't install NIIST (there were problems in the SSF Network Models (SSFNet) installation) nor could I use the web-based IPSec/ IKE testing tool, and in Network Simulator 2 (NS2) there is no IPSec code. Can you help me figure out how to do this?

You can try TCC NS2 which has IPSEC classes. The other simulators that you can try are Agilent's VOIP simulator

and OPNET.

I would still recommend trying out NIST.
