Simple home network to share Internet

I recently converted from Dial-Up to Cable for Internet. Would like to network two PC's simply for sharing Internet connection. I need help setting this up. (Both running W98SE) Can you suggest the best place to read up on how to do this? Thank you.

The easiest way to do this is to purchase a cable DSL router and install network cards in all your pc's. The router will server as a DHCP server and allow all your PC's to be on the same network. You will need to consult your ISP to determine how you can connect the router to your cable modem. A good place to start is:
