Should non-production machines, such as UAT for development testing, be included in the physical network topology?
Any device that sits on a network should be part of the documentation for your network. If you are asking if it should be part of the network, I would say yes. Even though you use it only for UAT, it will always have the potential to knock down other parts of the network or may be expanded to be a server for UAT testing. In short, I would include everything.
