I am a net admin at financial company. It is very competitive here. Should I wait until I?m ready or just try to pass the CCNP now with what I know and hope for the best?

Don't hesitate for a second trying to get your CCNP certification. You truly have nothing to lose getting underway and taking the tests. Start off taking exams that contain topics in which you feel comfortable. By even getting a couple under your belt, you are showing your company that you are on your way to getting certified, which ultimately shows initiative that you are increasing your knowledge and trying to advance your career.
