Security issues with net topology change

I have a T1 line going through a router then a switch and then through a hub. What security issues arise if I had to share my T1 connection with a separate LAN system splitting it at a Cisco 12 Port switch?

Since the T1 connection to the other LAN is splitting at a switch , there's no security defined.Doing this is actually exposing your LAN to other systems which are going to share your T1 connection. The best way to define security on this kind of environment is to setup a VLAN by having a router at the other end .
