Suppose that I have two servers (domain controller & database). If I would like to make remote administration from home possible, how could I ensure security to my network?

I would not encourage the remote administration of critical services over a non-secure channel. Setup a VPN infrastructure (if there's isn't one) and do the remote administration over this VPN channel. VPN creates an encrypted tunnel and will provide a secure communication between your home machine and the Target host. On the Network side, always follow a layering approach to secure your network. Basic filtering with NAT on the router followed by a Firewall and IDS is always a good approach.
