RIP instead of OSPF or EIGRP

Could you suggest which routing method I should use? I have 5 Cisco routers connected via 128 Dxx connection the connectivity as flow
A-B, B-C, B-D, B-E currently I am using default routing

I would use RIP version 2 because RIP is very easy to configure and troubleshoot. Since you only have 5 routers connected you do not need to configure the more complex protocols such as OSPF and EIGRP which usually utilizes a lot more CPU processing than RIP. You should use version 2 of RIP because it supports VLSM.
