Mobile devices can potentially pose a huge threat. Smartphones not only have network connectivity, but also have the ability to send and receive email, and also possess a large amount of store capacity. Smartphones need to have the same kinds of protections applied as other laptops and other network devices. This includes, encryption, authentication, and antivirus.
