Mixing wireless with DSL/Cable Internet access

I work for a company with DSL/Cable Internet access. We have a need for a wireless network with a 300-400 foot radius that we can use for sharing access. What are the most reliable, cost-effective, standard solutions for our problem?

One of the solutions that you could consider is setting up a server that would connect to the Internet via DSL/cable. The server would also support wireless LAN access for various clients such as laptops and PCs. I recommend that you look into this type of a solution as a cost effective way to provide the type of portability you need.
