Is obtaining a CCNA valuable for a system administrator?

I work as a Sun Solaris System administrator, and I want to know if a CCNA is valuable in this industry. Is the requirement and pay higher if I get my CCNA?

The two certifications (SCSA and CCNA) are very divergent and have very little overlap I'm afraid except for an understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals. Thus, unless you are specifically targeting a career which entails network administration with Cisco routers and switches with Sun Solaris servers, adding the CCNA to your resume alphabet probably will not increase your salary much.
