How can I access the terminal server from a Windows 2000 Pro or XP client that was connected through the Internet?

What I understand is that you want to connect your terminal server from a Windows machine which is across the Internet. For this, on the terminal server you need to start terminal services, and open access to the IP of terminal serve from Internet. Now on your client you need to use a terminal service client (XP has remote desktop connection built-in) which would connect you to the terminal server.
