Q

How do we get broadband connection back with multimode fiber?

When your customer has taken your broadband connection with single mode fiber, how do you get your connection back with multimode fiber? Find out from our infrastructure expert, Carrie Higbie.

At one of our customer sites we connected all the blocks with multimode fiber and they have taken our VSNL broadband connection with single mode fiber. What is the solution for this?
Your best bet is a single mode fiber (SMF) to multimode fiber (MMF) converter or transceiver. They are readily available on the Internet. Do a search on fiber media converters and you will find several to choose from.
