How do I check the Quality of Service of IPv6? I set up a LAN, and I don't know how to analyze the QoS or how to check its performance.
There are fields in the IPv6 header such as the "traffic class field" and the "flow label," and there are also extension headers that can be used for QoS. But as long as you don't have QoS specifically configured for your network, they are not used. In this case, the fields in the IPv6 header are set to zero and there are no extension headers used. For more details on how these fields and headers can be used, refer to Chapter 6 in "IPv6 Essentials."
