How can you update your certifications on the job?

I would like to know how I can update my certifications while I'm on the job.

Updating yourself on the job is always a difficult task to manage. I am sure quite often the day-to-day tasks of your job don't allow you to accrue much study or development time. With that being said, I highly recommend that you ask your superiors if they have a training budget. Based upon their answer, you can determine whether you can afford to take a course (whether it is instructor-led or virtual) or do self-studying. Whichever the case, it obviously behooves the company to develop its staff to be as knowledgeable and experienced as they can be, so pitch them the benefits of your development and they hopefully will succumb to allotting some money for a training budget.
